THE BOX

The Ekatot baby box is ideal for new parents, especially first timers.

The box can be used as a Moses basket and comes full of many essential items for baby and mum:

  • indoor clothing
  • hygiene products
  • outdoor clothing
  • mattress
  • toys
  • bedding

We offer three types of box to suit everyone’s needs and budgets. The box, mattress and bedding are the same in all three, but the quantity of contents vary between the big ISO box and lite PIKKU box. The UNI box contains the mattress and bedding only.

The ISO box is the full version of the Finnish Government äitiyspakkaus, containing over 50 items. The PIKKU box is intended for the first six months of the baby’s life and features over 20 items.

Products are sourced from Finnish and Scandinavian suppliers, many of which are the same as the äitiyspakkaus. All items are gender neutral, high quality and practical. The clothes range in size from newborn-12 months (50cm to 74cm) so they can be enjoyed throughout the first year of your child’s life. Many of the other items can be enjoyed for even longer. Clothing fabrics include cotton, organic cotton, merino wool and silk.
